Snowbound

Snowmageddon 2020 (which, in my neck of Seattle, amounts to about 3" or, as I like to call it, "a light dusting") has kept me from posting the last couple days due to homebound children requiring entertainment from their Dear Old Dad.

Today, they are finally back in school, but only for a couple hours...even their after school programs were cancelled. However, I am hopeful that the regular learning will get underway by tomorrow or so, so that I can get back to the bloggedy blog. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Later gators.

[dammit, as I was just about to post this I noticed the sky has started dumping white again. *sigh*]

  1. I keep getting to go into work late and they keep sending me home early. It's great! But the inexperienced people on the roads, that's what scares me!

  2. I have never played a video game. But I have lived in Washington State when the rain turned to snow. We lived in rural Puyallup one winter when it got over a foot high. Couldn't get my Saab up the steep hill so I had to walk. I was in sandals. My 5 year old son was with me. Before we could get to the house my feet had frozen so that I couldn't feel them. Could barely walk. My little guy, the snow higher than he stood due to drifting, made it to the door and him and his dad rescued me. Ah, such lovely memories. Now it's the beach and despite the temperature - that ocean looks magnificent!

    1. I've never been much of a beach guy, but I *do* love the ocean...which we happen to have in Washington.
