Tweaked My Back...

...doing laundry. More evidence that I am an old man.

  1. As another old man, it is a) time to cut out parts of your diet that weaken your muscles and tendons; b) adopt a stretching routine; and c) pace yourself.

    One day, you'll look back on this time and think, "F---. Back then, I thought I was old. I had no idea."

    2. I can only add that I hit the lowest weight that I've had in 20 years: 224.7 lbs. I feel lean, I feel light on my feet and I feel tough and strong. And I am almost 56.

  3. I feel you man. I just turned 52 and a couple of years ago I tweaked my back getting up off the floor. GETTING UP OFF THE FLOOR. Hurt so bad. It hasn't happened since fortunately but man did that make me feel old. Like a freakin' cliche.

  4. I am in this group and a month ago hurt my back doing nothing. Oh wait, I was sleeping. So I hurt my back sleeping...

  6. I think Billy Gardell has a comedy routine built around hurting yourself while you are sleeping. It's funny because it's true.
