There was a point about a year and a half ago, when I was running AD&D pretty consistently every other week, that I was able to keep play flowing smoothly and consistently without too many pauses to hunt for a particular rule, but the last time I ran it (after months of that campaign gathering dust) I was a bit embarrassed by having to halt play to look up fairly simple rules.

Granted, I tend to be able to keep the important rules of B/X in my head a lot easier than 2e, but that's a no-brainer. ;)Fuzzy Skinnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10606454596061907461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4143435314932633148.post-78548224585085521602017-09-27T09:12:49.161-07:002017-09-27T09:12:49.161-07:00For that matter, Tennessee didn't look much li...For that matter, Tennessee didn't look much like the Titans of recent years.
; )

[oh, those fumbled snaps...I counted three myself, including one that bounced off Wilson's chest when he was staring at the sideline. Sure he was aggressive, but he was also incredibly fast and agile down the field on those big run plays...very athletic for his size/position.JBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03263662621289630246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4143435314932633148.post-855158731244771162017-09-26T18:52:48.245-07:002017-09-26T18:52:48.245-07:00Yeah, I believe that's Lewan. He's probably the most aggressive OT I've seen.
Weather probably did have something to do with it, along with Wilson getting sacked once, hit 10 times, and fumbling twice, while TN had no turnovers, sacks, and a rushing game. Can't say I'm a fan of Seattle, but they certainly didn't LOOK like Seattle. Will Arnoldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03698278637449036933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4143435314932633148.post-50373160416688811612017-09-26T18:35:37.127-07:002017-09-26T18:35:37.127-07:00@ Will:

Come on). It was an embarrassing shitshow for Seattle who has a history of doing poorly in these early season, hot weather games (see similar embarrassments at San Diego and Kansas City in prior seasons).

The Titans look good, and have some pretty special players (that left tackle was a beast, and the running backs made some nice cuts). But it's a long season, and I know Mariota has had some difficulty finishing seasons. Don't think they need to worry too much about their division opponents this year, but the team will sure need a starting QB if they want to make a deep run in the playoffs.JBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03263662621289630246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4143435314932633148.post-8092744180724145992017-09-26T11:45:53.676-07:002017-09-26T11:45:53.676-07:00BTW, since you brought up football, how bout them ...BTW, since you brought up football, how bout them Titans? ;)Will Arnoldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03698278637449036933noreply@blogger.com
