Supers is my favorite genera of Role Playing if I were honest, and you seem to have hit the nail on the head as to what makes it so compelling.<br /><br />The human element (as you call it) can be tricky. The only game I know of that has really tried to tackle it was "Adventures In Oz: Fantasy Roleplaying Beyond The Yellow Brick Road." In AoO defining your character's friends is part of generation. In play a helping friends earns XP, and a player can "summon" their friends into the narative when they are in trouble.
